The Impact Plan is a tool that involves a canvas and a deck of 20 cards. It operates as a Determine heuristic for the rapid assessment of a project’s impact, grounded on surfacing desired identities: the individual’s or a team’s identity, and the identities of those benefiting from the possible outcomes of said project. It is an impact-centred tool connecting individuals or teams’ desires with their values and identity, aiming at anticipating and assessing the short, medium and long-term impact that the projects (or activities, or endeavours, or adventures) they will engage with may have – creating a collective understanding for all concerned.
It presents a prompt or stimuli-based system for early decision-making, individual or group continuous development planning, and impact-centred thinking, where those involved can decide toward contributing to a better world.
