Description

In order to bring together researchers, educators and other global actors to critically discuss the concepts, frameworks, and practices that are referred to as “transformative” or “regenerative”, we are organising a webinar with a thematic focus on planetary health and wellbeing.

Wednesday November 6th, at CET 8-10am (New York 3-5am, Helsinki 9-11am, Delhi 12:30-2:30pm, Sydney 6-8pm) at Teams

In the webinar we will have two inspirational talks based on recent research on the topics of:
1) The exploration of our inner world in the regenerative paradigm shift, by Vanessa Taveras-Dalmau from Griffith University (Australia) and 2) The challenge of imagining transformative futures by Sanna Ketonen-Oksi from Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

We will also have an introduction to ETAPLATE, a Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council funded initiative to model and develop a transatlantic research and development ecosystem around the topic of planetary health and wellbeing, presented by Laura Tahvanainen from Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

Most importantly, time is reserved for a dialogue with the audience: We will e.g. discuss ways to create pathways for more in-depth understanding of how, when, and why the inner dimensions would best support the sustainability transformations and regenerative practices. The event is organised by ETAPLATE, together with Laurea´s IDG research hub on Re-imagining planetary sustainable futures, co-lead by Sanna Ketonen-Oksi and Tiina Wikström.

Welcome to join us. Register by 5th of November at https://elomake.laurea.fi/lomakkeet/22446/lomake.html
